Although the situation is quite appalling, I really could not get over why it was so important that Clifton Daniel “noted” (or if he had even noted at all and the writer of this article was actually the one who chose to point it out) that “[Clifton Daniel] is the grandson of former President Harry S. Truman and Wesley Daniel is the president’s great-grandson.”
Just because you’re related to a famous person, does not make your misfortunes any more important than those who are less fortunate.

When I started reading this I was undoubtedly shocked, but indifferent and somewhat understanding as to why people would choose this lifestyle. Then I read the part about Serena Cervantes preferring married men and I lost all respect.
